LIQUID LANOLIN - Sheepish Grins offers the highest quality of Liquid Lanolin that is
available on the market.
This lanolin is rated above pharmaceutical grade with no additives or
preservatives.
Two ounces of Liquid Lanolin goes a long way.
Liquid lanolin also makes wonderful hand lotion/moisturizer. It soaks in
well and leaves no stickiness behind. Perfect for lanolizing your cloth
diapers.
To Use: Add a teaspoon or less to warm water and swirl to distribute. Add
your wool diapers to the lanolin rich water. Soak your wool a minimum of 15
minutes or over night. Remove extra water from your wool by rolling it in
a towel and then lay flat to air dry.
What Is Lanolin?
Lanolin is a greasy, yellow substance that is produced by sheep to keep
their wool dry and soft. Lanolin is soothing to the skin and naturally
helps prevent bacteria from growing. It acts as a moisture barrier on skin
and keeps wool in good condition. Pharmaceutical grade lanolin has been
purified to remove pesticides and other chemicals.
When purified, lanolin is used as a base for ointments and creams, as a
lubricant, and in finishing and preserving leather. It is also a
constituent of some varnishes and paints. Lanolin is made of a mixture of
cholesterol and the esters of several fatty acids. With water it forms an
emulsion. As a waste product in wool processing, it is known also as wool
wax, wool fat, or wool grease.
Does Sheepish Grins use any animal byproducts?
Absolutely not. Lanolin is produced from wool sheared from live animals.
Sheep need to have their wool sheared off at least once a year or it gets
so long it tangles and makes them much too hot for summertime. When the
wool is cleaned, the lanolin is extracted. One of the reasons I love using
lanolin and wool is that they are biodegradable, naturally produced,
renewable resources and using them does not hurt sheep.
None of our products contain ingredients that require an animal to die
(for instance, we do not use any emu oil, beef tallow, or other fats from
animals). We use only two animal ingredients in our products, bees wax and
lanolin. All of our skin care products are clearly labeled so you can
easily see what they contain.

RETURN POLICY
RETURNS are accepted within 30 days of order, with
a return code, on unopened, unused products.
Email
us for RETURN CODE number. Please include order number and customer name
with this email.
When you return the product include a copy of the sales receipt, and indicate
refund or product exchange on the package.
NO RETURNS (unless defective) on open product
packages, sale items, potty training products, personalized products, special
orders, or wholesale purchases.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS - Items received defective will be
replaced within the first 30 days after order.
PRODUCT WARRANTY - My Precious Kid is not responsible
for replacement of defective items after 30 days. Please contact us for
manufacturer's phone number for warranty issues. It will be the customer's
responsibility to contact the manufacturer for replacement according to their
warranty
policy.
REFUNDS - Refunds will be processed within 7 days of
return. Shipping charges are not refundable.
NOTE: Items returned in used or opened condition, or outside of return policy will be refunded at retail price, minus 50% fee. The items will be given to a local charity or needy family. If free shipping was given then the actual shipping will be deducted from the refunded amount.
