MOM TESTED - As a mom of 4 kids and safety expert I prefer the Sunshine Kids Radian 65 convertible car seat over any other. It keeps them in a 5 point harness until 65 pounds, keeping them much safer. It is $100 less than a comparable Britax car seat. I love that it folds up to put in the trunk of my car when not needed. I also like that it top tethers both rear and forward facing.

INFANT CAR SEAT - If you’ve already been shopping around for convertible car seats, you’ll recognize that this 65 lb capacity is much bigger than the 40 lb capacity you see with many other seats. the Radian. It's wonderful to know our daughter is safe in her car seat, and

CUSTOMER REVIEW: Sunshine Kids Radian 65
I was looking to find a 5 point harness seat that went above and beyond to hold my 3 and 5 year old daughters forward facing. This seat was highly recommended to me.
After searching and comparing this seat with the Britax Regent (needed tether and too wide, not FAA approved), the Costco Apex (too bulky), the Safeguard Child seat (too pricey), I found this one to have all the things I required:
1. Slim design so I could fit 3 child seats across one row in my SUV.
2. Something that offered great cushion and padding.
3. Something FAA approved.
4. Something that could fit outboard or center seat location.
If you are thinking of getting this seat, definitely jump on it. You will not be disappointed!
A GREAT BUY - My son would cry during every car ride in his old car seat, but the Radian has made such a difference. He sits up straighter in the Radian, which lets him look out the window and helps with tummy aches. It's also easier for him to move his legs, which he loves. It was a great buy! Tracey

The importance of a 5 point harness!
RADIAN MANUAL strap placement information
Rear facing - use nearest slot at or below child's shoulders.
Forward facing - use nearest slot at above child's shoulders.
When using upper slot the level of the child's shoulders can be above the
harness slot as long as child is proper height.
Child is too tall for the seat if the tops of the ears are above the back of
the seat OR if the child is more than 53" tall.

RETURNS are accepted within 30 days of order, with
a return code, on unopened, unused products.
Email
us for RETURN CODE number. Please include order number and customer name
with this email.
When you return the product include a copy of the sales receipt, and indicate
refund or product exchange on the package.
NO RETURNS (unless defective) on open product
packages, sale items, potty training products, personalized products, special
orders, or wholesale purchases.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS - Items received defective will be
replaced within the first 30 days after order.
PRODUCT WARRANTY - My Precious Kid is not responsible
for replacement of defective items after 30 days. Please contact us for
manufacturer's phone number for warranty issues. It will be the customer's
responsibility to contact the manufacturer for replacement according to their
warranty
policy.
REFUNDS - Refunds will be processed within 7 days of
return. Shipping charges are not refundable.
NOTE: Items returned in used or opened condition, or outside of return policy will be refunded at retail price, minus 50% fee. The items will be given to a local charity or needy family. If free shipping was given then the actual shipping will be deducted from the refunded amount.
