CHORE CHART by Melissa and Doug - Are you looking for the perfect
chore chart to help your kids get their chores done? We found the
solution. The
Melissa and Doug wooden magnetic chore chart (also
called a responsibility chart) will do the job. My 8 year old
daughter was excited to hang this chart in her room. Each day she
moves the reward token for each chore she completes. At the end of
the week I pay her allowance based on the number of chores she ahs
completed that week. This chart is for children 3 years and up. You
will need one chart for each child.
CUSTOMER COMMENT: This chart is wonderful for introducing
responsibilities to your kids. It serves as a visual reminder of
what they've accomplished during the week, as well as what they need
to work on. My kids feel a sense of accomplishment every time they
get to put a magnet on a chore they've completed. Very durable, very

up a reward system for the chores done each week. It could be a
nickel or dime per chore. Or it could be a certain treat (ice cream

an improvement in our son's behavior. Our expectations no longer
seem arbitrary to him. Instead he knows what we expect, and he looks

My three year old can't seem to do enough around the house
with this thing hanging on the wall! The highlight to her day is
placing the smiley faces next to the responsibilities she has
completed each day. If she didn't complete a responsibility,
however, no smiley face. Let's say it is a rare day she doesn't earn
a smiley face. It has greatly helped her to take her
responsibilities seriously and with great pride. The sense of
accomplishment she receives at the end of the day is all over her
face and is absolutely priceless. In addition to teaching her to
pick up her toys, there are other "responsibilities" such as,
keeping hands to self, brushing teeth, setting table, saying please
and thank you, apologizing to someone, and many more. We change them
up about once a week to keep her interested. I would recommend this
product.

Chore Chart Success

We started the Dime-a-chore system as taught by our pastor many years ago. I had tried several other chore chart systems over the years and none has worked as well as this one. I hope it works well for you too.
Each child has a chore chart with 6-12 chores/activities I want them to do every day. It might include hygiene, music, pets, and homework, whatever I am trying to get them to accomplish each day. Each child vacuums one room in the house every day and has one kitchen chore each day. I pay 10 cents for each chore.
Each child does 2 large chores a week. We call them Friday chores. One is their room complete (sheets, laundry away, toys, vacuum, etc) and the second is another room in the house (their bathroom mopped & scrubbed, or kitchen scrubbed & mopped) I pay $1 each for these weekly chores.
Now I am hearing you say "That is a lot of money!" Well think of all the times you give them $1 here and $5 there to go somewhere (McDonald’s, the ice cream truck, etc). Now I don't! They use their money for tithe first, then outings, music, friend’s birthday gifts, and other wants. I still pay for needs, and they pay for wants!
It gives me the perfect opportunity to teach them about budgeting and I get less hassle about chores. They even have an "extra" category for anything else I ask them to do or when they have to do a siblings chore! I do not hear anymore “That is not my job”.
Then I help them figure out their tithe, put money in savings and budget for the next 2 weeks. After years with this chore chart system I have teenagers who can budget and plan wisely. I also have kids who know how to clean and how to do laundry. I want them to be self-sufficient when they leave my home. They all cook regularly too. When you return the product include a copy of the sales receipt, and indicate

NO RETURNS (unless defective) on open product

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS - Items received defective will be
replaced within the first 30 days after order.
PRODUCT WARRANTY - My Precious Kid is not responsible
for replacement of defective items after 30 days. Please contact us for
manufacturer's phone number for warranty issues. It will be the customer's
responsibility to contact the manufacturer for replacement according to their
warranty
policy.
REFUNDS - Refunds will be processed within 7 days of
return. Shipping charges are not refundable. Items returned without return code,
in used condition, opened, or after 30 days will be refunded at retail minus
shipping, minus 50% restocking fee.
