We found the solution. The Melissa and Doug wooden magnetic chore chart (also called a responsibility chart) will do the job. My 8 year old daughter was excited to hang this chart in her room. Each day she moves the reward token for each chore she completes. At the end of the week I pay her allowance based on the number of chores she has completed that week. Today the Green family welcomed a new member to our family. Her name is Miss Sadie. She is a 2 yr old, 60 lbs lab mix. She is sweet and gentle and pretty quiet. She was so gentle with 3 r old Madison tonight. We are delighted to have her join us.
We adopted her from the local shelter.
