Choosing a Business

When choosing a direct sales company to join ask your self:
Can I afford the start up kit fee?
Can I see myself using these products every month a year from now?
Can I see my self still telling others about them every month a year from now?
What product or service are they selling? (there must be one or the other)
Can I afford the ongoing cost of the business? (web hosting, inventory, prints, postage, ads)
What is the companies reputation? Can I be proud of that?
Is there a monthly minimum cost/fee? Can I afford it? What do I get for it?
Is there training available? Offline, online, or in person?
Am I willing to spend time every day 5 days a week to make this business work?
Am I willing to take the time to build business relationships and obtain customers?
Am I willing to make follow up customer service and sales calls for this company?
Am I willing to take the time to do events/parties/classes/fairs for this business?
Do I have the cash flow to get me through the first year?
